    No. Crystallization is a natural process in pure honey: its natural glucose solidifies when the weather turns cold. Quality and nutrition stay the same. To make the honey liquid again, simply stand the jar in warm water below 40°C.

    Folk tests such as dropping honey into water or burning it with a match are not reliable, because cleverly adulterated honey can still pass them. The most trustworthy approach is to buy from a transparent source where you know the beekeeping region and the beekeeper. Chu Natural works directly with beekeepers in Sơn La, Lai Châu, Phú Thọ, and Gia Lai.

    Many people take honey in warm water in the morning or about 30 minutes before bed. Avoid mixing it with boiling water; warm water below 40°C is best for preserving the flavor.

    Honey contains natural sugars plus small amounts of minerals and antioxidants. Many families use it in place of some of the sugar in drinks and cooking, or to soothe the throat. Honey is a food, not a substitute for medicine.

    No. Babies under 12 months must never be given honey, because of the risk of poisoning from Clostridium botulinum spores. Children over 1 year old and adults can enjoy it as normal.

    Pure honey very rarely spoils if it is kept sealed and stored properly. For the best flavor, use it within about 2 years. The best-before date is printed on every Chu Natural product.

    Store it at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, and always keep the lid tightly closed. Keeping honey in the fridge makes it crystallize faster.

    Mainly flavor and color. Longan blossom honey is bright golden with a distinctive longan aroma. Wildflower honey is darker, with a richer taste drawn from many kinds of wild blossom. See all our honeys in the Products section.

    Honey is still sugar and has about as many calories as regular sugar. If you are trying to lose weight, use it in small amounts. If you have diabetes, ask your doctor before using it.
